17th July 24
Each song related to a Montessori learning area, covering literacy, numeracy, writing, culture, and science. It was clear that we have many enthusiastic young performers! The concert ended with the song ‘Big School’, adapted to the tune of Frank Sinatra’s ‘New York, New York’. This lively number brought enthusiastic applause and even a few tears from the audience.
We are very grateful to the parents for attending the show and to Mrs Kramer for her hard work in preparing the children for this memorable event. Special thanks also to our music teachers, Miss Sarah Wilkinson and Miss Louise Loft, for their excellent work in getting the children ready and accompanying them so beautifully.
This concert was a touching display of the children’s remarkable growth over their final year in Nursery. Their talent and the dedication of our staff made this milestone event truly unforgettable. We are proud to wish these children a fond goodbye, knowing they are well-prepared for their future learning journey in Primary school.
